Mobilizing Community Development
This is a short introduction to a group of community organizers in the neighbourhood of Bamenda, Cameroon, known as Old Town. For a long time, Old Town has been at the receiving end of some of the most fierce stereotypes about crime, prostitution, hygiene etc. An association of young men founded in 2004 has since sought to clean up Old Town's image. Since its inception, members of the Ntambag Brothers Association have championed a number of projects in their community, some of which will be featured in a documentary about the role of young people in promoting social change.
